Mark R. Geyer, M.D.
Dr. Mark Geyer, a specialist in shoulder, hip and knee surgery, has been in practice in the Memorial area since 2012. As a native Houstonian from the Spring Branch area, it is a rewarding experience for Dr. Geyer to work in the area he grew up. Following his orthopedic training at Duke University Medical Center and The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, Dr. Geyer brings a wealth of expertise in the areas of arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, ligament reconstruction, and fracture management.
A graduate from Second Baptist School and Baylor University, Dr. Geyer received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Duke where he served as a team physician for a local high school as well as for North Carolina Central University and Duke University athletic teams. Dr. Geyer completed his training by electing to pursue subspecialty training at The Steadman Clinic. In addition to the world class clinical training, Dr. Geyer participated in clinical research as well as in the medical coverage of the US Ski and Snowboard teams.
Dr. Geyer is excited to be a part of the team at Inov8 Orthopedics. The mission of bringing high quality, specialized orthopedic care drives Dr. Geyer every day.
As if being an orthopedic surgeon isn’t busy enough, Dr. Geyer loves chasing after (and coaching, carpooling, cleaning up after) his 4 children. He and his wife love the big family. If there is any free time left, he enjoys working out, playing tennis and traveling with his beautiful wife.
