About Clara

Clara Santa is a licensed Physical Therapist who brings a high level of energy and professionalism with more than 20 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedics treating all types of injuries including joint replacements, sports and work injuries, as well as chronic pain. She graduated from Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia in 1996.

She has completed a diverse set of specialized courses including McKenzie diagnosis and treatment of lumbar spine, Mulligan’s Mobilization with Movement for lower extremity, differential diagnosis and management of cervical and lumbar spine, shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, foot and ankle with the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM) and Kinesiotaping assessment, fundamental concepts and techniques.

She is currently working on her board certification as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS). She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Orthopedic Section of the APTA. She is certified in Kinesiotaping and BLS/CPR. She is also proficient/fluent in Spanish.

She and her husband enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, sporting activities like soccer, coaching kids’ soccer leagues, ice skating and spending time visiting with family and friends, near and far.
